At DRÄXLMAIER Brasov, we received the visit of a delegation formed by representatives of the consortium that launched the Erasmus+ KA2 project “Improving Mechanical Engineering Education in Moldova for Industry 4.0” (NEEDEDU 4.0).
The purpose of this visit was to present the production halls and the state-of-the-art technologies used in the company. The visit gave the participating teachers an overview of the advanced processes and equipment used at DRÄXLMAIER Brasov, thus contributing to influencing the curriculum in Moldova. By directly observing cutting-edge technologies in production, teachers will be able to integrate the acquired knowledge into their curricula, ensuring that they reflect the latest trends and innovations in the industry.
The NEEDEDU 4.0 project is implemented by a strong consortium of universities, companies and governmental organisations from Moldova, Germany and Romania.
The project is coordinated by the Technical University of Moldova, in collaboration with prestigious partners from Moldova and Europe: “Alecu Russo” State University of Balti, “Bogdan Petriceicu Hasdeu” State University of Cahul, Transilvania University of Brasov, RWTH Aachen University of Aachen, Germany, DRÄXLMAIER Grup, Germany.
The main goal of the project is to accelerate the transition of higher education to Industry 4.0, improving the employability of graduates and contributing to the achievement of the EU acquis on green transition and climate neutrality.
