Participation in international conference: Innovative education for sustainable development

On 6–7 November 2025, the project team participated in the 7th Economic International Conference “Competitiveness and Sustainable Development”, organised by Technical University of Moldova – Faculty of Economic Engineering and Business, in partnership with Stefan cel Mare University of Suceava, with the support of Erasmus+ Project Skills4future and the Jean Monnet Chair – EUleadSD. The event was held in a mixed (on-site & online) format, bringing together academics and experts from different countries.

Within the conference programme, Dr. hab. Larisa Bugaian and Dr. Rodion Ciupercă presented the paper “The Blended Learning Method as a Tool for Educational Innovation in the Interuniversity Master’s Program Smart Industries and Digital Transformation.” The presentation highlighted how blended learning supports educational innovation by combining synchronous and asynchronous teaching, enhancing flexibility, and strengthening students’ digital and interdisciplinary competences aligned with Industry 4.0 needs.

The contribution also emphasized the importance of interuniversity cooperation, modern digital infrastructure, and learner-centred methodologies in improving the quality and relevance of higher education, while supporting the broader goals of competitiveness and sustainable development.

Participation in this international conference represented an important dissemination activity for the NeedEDU4.0 project, fostering knowledge exchange, visibility of project results, and international academic collaboration.
